I don’t know why it suddenly went up. All I know is, I followed my rules but missed the mark by 3 ticks. I moved my stop loss to 2 ticks above my entry. Turned out to be a good move.
I know…it’s the same reason why I read very little books – because today people don’t write to share knowledge, they write for any other purpose except that.
You go to any forums, it’s the same thing – people posting only their winning trades. I’ve known people who have been trading for years and everytime I ask someone how is their trading doing they will say “OK”.
I mean WTF does OK means? They will explain “Oh not bad…still winning…” like whatever. These people will always show their winnings, not their losses, and always teaching other people.
You find people like that all over the internet too.
Often, those who really made a killing in trading will keep quiet and go mind their own business. To them trading is just a bonus in their life. For the others, they tend to show it off, determined to make it a career. Well, I almost wanted to do that too.
Not clear why you title your posts “winning trades” when in fact they include losers? I was hesitatnt to read your blog because of the title of the posts, as I thought you only posted winners, but after looking at the record, the trades indeed seem real, so why use “winning” in the titles?

when I read your blog, it feels very real, when I read other people’s, they don’t seem as real.

Hi Trevor, it’s an old convention used by a forum that I used to be active in. Alright then, I shall rename it just “Trades”. =)
