Wealth Academy Workshop Batch 19

Last weekend I had a wonderful time at the AKLTG centre being part of the Wealth Academy(WA) coaching team.

WA Batch 19 Coaches
It was a great experience which encompasses learning, games and fun. The program is conducted over a 3-1/2 day period where the participants will have lessons and games at the same time.

The games were designed to simulate real life scenario. One game taught investing for the long-term by acquiring assets and the other taught trading in the open outcry market.

I’ve never attended any other programs like this but from the participants’ and my own friends’ feedback, they say that this is the most content-packed workshop they’ve ever attended.

What they will learn is really a long list:
- The wealthy mindset: How wealthy people think
- Personal Wealth Management: How to manage your assets and expenses(it may not be as hard as you think)
- Starting a business: What are the necessary and unnecessary stuff?
- Multiple Sources of Income: After starting the business, do you want to run it or let it run by itself?
- Before starting a business: You need an idea first! But how to get this idea? There is a process you can follow which may not guarantee you a million-dollar idea, but will increase your chances of finding one.
- Investing: The very basic concept
- The stock market: How does it actually work?
- Investing the Warren Buffett way: Value Investing for the long-term
- The 9 steps to Value Investing: Simple process to screen(not pick)
- Macroeconomics: Why it is so important to your trading and investing
- Technical Analysis: Charting, Candlesticks, Indicators
- Using options to leverage on your trading: The neccesary stuff you need to know about options

At first I didn’t notice it, but this program indeed is content-packed. The money that the participants paid will be worth it – only if they use what they learn.

A sad thing is that many people go through this program but chose to ignore the follow-up program, which goes on for 18 months. It is filled with booster sessions and smaller-duration workshops which topics range from marketing to communication. Some people never came back for any of those.

An even sadder case is people went through the program waiting for it to end. I can see that a few participants always missing out on the games, always leaving early…this only shows how much they want it.

There were many motivated participants who hang on to every word that comes out from the trainer’s mouth and put their heart and soul into the games. I hope they will benefit from this program.
